Nick Belmont is an American mixed martial artist from Tallahassee, Florida. He currently competes as a light heavyweight.
Nick Belmont makes his living testing out various products, chemicals, and items before they leave the lab and are sold in stores. It is believed that various products have created advantages and disadvantages in his upcoming fights, seeing as Belmont dominates in one, but falls flat in the other.
He was released from his HCL contract on September 1, 2014, after testing positive for a banned substance following his fight with Dorsey Bunn at HCL 33. The fight result was changed to a no contest, after Belmont originally knocked out Bunn with a left hook in the second round.
Seriously... the guy who has so many chemicals in him he's considered a main competitor to Merck got nabbed on a drug test. Did no one else see this coming?
