KUMITE 18: Banana is the eighteenth mixed martial arts event held by the Japanese promotion KUMITE, and their sixth event of 2015. The event took place on June 25, 2015 from the Sporting Girls Muffin Dome in Sendai, Japan, and is the finale of the first half of the 2015 KUMITE season. It is also the first KUMITE event to take place in its new Thursday night slot.
This event featured ten sanctioned mixed martial arts bouts. All fights consist of two rounds, with the first round being ten minutes, and the second round being five. All fights are scored in their entirety, rather than by round.
This event featured the semifinals and grand finals of the 2015 Welterweight KUMITE tournament. The two winners of the semifinals met in the main event to crown the 2015 KUMITE Welterweight Champion.
